An unforgettable sight, Otaru Hokkaido

August 7, 2015

Visited Otaru on my last Hokkaido trip, it’s my second visit, the first was during winter. The view of Otaru Canal in spring is certainly equally beautiful as winter~!

Wish I could have stayed longer, need to leave before the golden and blue hour as we are running on somewhat tight schedule. I would have imagine a golden hour as the backdrop would be so beautiful, maybe next time.

< Didn't know you can do boat ride on the canal!

< The old buildings along the canal is full of character, very beautiful.

Besides the canal, Sakaimachi Street is a place where you can find many cafe, resturants, souvenir shops and museums.

< The entrance of the  very porpular music box museum with the music clock >

Finding it
The location of the canal can be found at the link here as I find locating the canal is not that easy.
